BUY A RIDE FOR A HEALTH CARE HERO.
Our community has come together in unimaginable ways and has given us faith that together we are stronger than ever. As we are navigating around the current COVID climate, a reoccurring theme appearing is the struggle that health care workers are experiencing with transportation to/from their hospitals. We have been happy to provide over 478 rides for health care workers (heroes) on the front lines, and now you can get involved too.
Choose an option below to buy a ride for a health care hero and we will ensure they will receive five star, safe transportation before and after their very stressful shift.
How To Book
Step 1:
Employees pre-book their ride on our app (available in the App Store and GooglePlay)
Step 2:
Add “IH employee” into the Notes section for the booking
Step 3:
Show your Health Authority ID badge to the Driver at the start of the ride
Step 4:
Have a safe day at work!
Guidelines
- Program is available for Interior Health and Island Health Health Care Workers
- Participants must show their valid Health Authority badge upon pickup
- Rides must start or end at one of the eligible hospitals (see below)
- Rides are limited to a 20km radius of the eligible hospitals
- Rides should be pre-booked as far in advance as possible to ensure availability
